Chelsey and Ed's Wedding - Montour Heights Country Club

October 18th, 2014 - Violin Ceremony and Cocktail Hour and DJ Reception

Ed and Chelsey are both alumi of Robert Morris University and there was no better way to begin their marriage than to have their ceremony at the Rogal Chapel at RMU. Sarah played violin for their ceremony including: Sheep My Safely Graze for the Mother's Processional, Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring for the Bridesmaids' Processional, and Canon in D for Chelsey's Processional. The bride and groom chose the Famous Waltz, Brahms, as their music for lighting the Unity Candle together. They recessed to Wedding March and requested upbeat classical music while they greeted their guests in the receiving line.

After Sarah played pop and love songs for the cocktail hour at the Montour Heights Country Club, Dan served as the Emcee/DJ for the evening. He welcomed the guests and introduced the Bridal Party as they made their grand entrance to Justin Timberlake's Sexyback.

The theme of "apples" was important to Chelsey and Ed with connections to Chelsey growing up on an apple orchard, her father working for Apple, and more. Thanks to Ed and Chelsey for sharing some of your extra apples with us! We enjoyed make applesauce with them :)

The bride and groom's guests enjoyed dancing and partying with them throughout the evening. Some of the special music for the evening included:

Dinner - Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, and other vocal jazz classics

First Dance - Amazed, Lonestar

Cake Cutting - Marry Me, Train (They smashed cake into each others faces) :)

Father/Daughter Dance - Unforgettable, Natalie and Nat King Cole, and We Are Family as a special surprise

In additional to all of the speical dances, their guests had fun dancing to Ed and Cheley's eclectic requests. Pictured below - Ed and Chelsey enjoy Garth Brooks, "Friends In Low Places," with their friends and family.
